CO2-Plume Geothermal (CPG) power plants can use geologically stored CO2 to generate electricity. In this study, a Flexible Plume (CPG-F) facility is introduced, which provide dispatchable power, energy storage, or both and storage simultaneously—providing baseload with for demand response. It found that CPG-F deliver more than CPG plant, but less daily production. For example, the produces 7.2 MWe 8 h (8 h-16 duty cycle), 190% greater supplied from decreased by 61% 60 MWe-h 23 MWe-h.
